Kindness really matters at the Strengths Practice. We feel sorry for people who see giving, kindness and generosity of spirit as a weakness – yes, there really are people who feel like that! Well, not here!
Little acts of kindness and sharing positivity lights up our days, for two reasons. Because receiving a gift or being on the receiving end of kindness is a lovely thing, especially if we practice gratitude.
And guess what? Giving has also been shown to make the giver happier.
Our ‘Gifts’ consists of little feel good nuggets of positivity we’d like to give to you.
It’s an opportunity to remind yourself of:
• gifts you may already have within you, and to use them well
• gifts you can share and use for the benefit of others
• gifts you can give yourself, by developing them through regular use or practice
